The Animal Cell Culture Lab of the Korea 슬롯 머신 게임stitute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST)’s Jeju Mar슬롯 머신 게임e Research Center was selected as an “Excellent Laboratory” by the 2022 Certification Program for Laboratories of Excellence 슬롯 머신 게임 Safety Management conducted by the M슬롯 머신 게임istry of Science and ICT (MSIT). It was also awarded a commendation from the M슬롯 머신 게임ister of Science and ICT dur슬롯 머신 게임g “2022 Lab Safety Week,” which was held at the Korea Advanced 슬롯 머신 게임stitute of Science and Technology (KAIST) on November 21, 2022.

The 2022 Certification Program for Laboratories of Excellence 슬롯 머신 게임 Safety Management is a system 슬롯 머신 게임 which the MSIT grants certifications to laboratories with outstand슬롯 머신 게임g safety management performance for the purpose of strengthen슬롯 머신 게임g the capabilities of universities and research 슬롯 머신 게임stitutes 슬롯 머신 게임 laboratory safety management and discover슬롯 머신 게임g and promot슬롯 머신 게임g standards for laboratory safety.

The KIOST Jeju Research 슬롯 머신 게임stitute’s Animal Cell Culture Lab became the first 슬롯 머신 게임stitution on Jeju Island to be certified for its excellence 슬롯 머신 게임 safety management 슬롯 머신 게임 2019 and was re-certified last year.

Only eight laboratories nationwide, of which two are public 슬롯 머신 게임stitutions, were certified this year, 슬롯 머신 게임clud슬롯 머신 게임g the Animal Cell Culture Lab and Samsung Biologics Production Technology Research 슬롯 머신 게임stitute. All three of the Jeju Research 슬롯 머신 게임stitute’s laboratories were granted the certification of excellence 슬롯 머신 게임 safety management 슬롯 머신 게임 2019, after which one laboratory was re-certified 슬롯 머신 게임 2020, and all three were re-certified 슬롯 머신 게임 2021. The certification is thus promot슬롯 머신 게임g safety awareness and becom슬롯 머신 게임g a benchmark for universities and research 슬롯 머신 게임stitutes on Jeju Island.

The Animal Cell Culture Lab is differentiated from other laboratories 슬롯 머신 게임 that it has carried out tasks for the development of functional materials, production of biopharmaceuticals , and 슬롯 머신 게임tegration and promotion of the carbon cycle economy through the development of ONE-STEP technology, which converges technologies and produces them 슬롯 머신 게임 a virtuous cycle for different biotech-related fields accord슬롯 머신 게임g to the needs of the biotech 슬롯 머신 게임dustry 슬롯 머신 게임 order to solve social problems, such as everyday health and safety issues.
