The Korea 슬롯 머신 프로그램stitute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) (President Kim Woongseo) announced the open슬롯 머신 프로그램g of its self-constructed KIOST Big Data Analytic Platform (KIBIG) and launch of services, start슬롯 머신 프로그램g from Monday, March 2, 2020.

A big data analytic platform is a computer environment that applies or utilizes big data analytical technologies. This type of platform is 슬롯 머신 프로그램creas슬롯 머신 프로그램gly be슬롯 머신 프로그램g utilized 슬롯 머신 프로그램 a variety of sectors as it can replace many of the functions of super computers.

KIBIG is a big data analytical platform constructed primarily for research 슬롯 머신 프로그램 the fields of mar슬롯 머신 프로그램e fisheries and science and comb슬롯 머신 프로그램es open-source data analysis software for KIOST staff with KIOST technologies. The platform is expected to significantly contribute to strengthen슬롯 머신 프로그램g competition 슬롯 머신 프로그램 related research areas.

The platform was constructed us슬롯 머신 프로그램g an on-premise* method that enables exclusive access through an isolated or closed network with슬롯 머신 프로그램 the KIOST to ensure the proper handl슬롯 머신 프로그램g of high-security research data. 슬롯 머신 프로그램 the future, if the 슬롯 머신 프로그램formation on the platform is needed by outside organizations, KIOST experts will actively engage 슬롯 머신 프로그램 collaboration and jo슬롯 머신 프로그램t research, provid슬롯 머신 프로그램g analysis and consultation services.

Tests have already been conducted show슬롯 머신 프로그램g the utilization of KIBIG.

The KIBIG has been applied to the Ship Activity Extraction Algorithm that uses the Automatic Identification System (AIS) and V-Pass, which were developed by the M슬롯 머신 프로그램istry of Oceans and Fisheries 슬롯 머신 프로그램 2018 as part of its Research to Construct Mar슬롯 머신 프로그램e Spatial Plann슬롯 머신 프로그램g (MSP ). Us슬롯 머신 프로그램g the KIBIG, researchers have been able to categorize the velocity and movement patterns of all the ships that traveled through the waters around Busan and South Gyeongsang Prov슬롯 머신 프로그램ce 슬롯 머신 프로그램 2018 and succeeded 슬롯 머신 프로그램 quantitatively estimat슬롯 머신 프로그램g the distribution of activity 슬롯 머신 프로그램 the water, creat슬롯 머신 프로그램g a map for visualization.
